Webb1 apr. 2024 · The general principle of QEC is to encode logical quantum information redundantly in a large Hilbert space with certain symmetry properties, which can be used to detect errors. In particular, logical code states are designed such that they can be mapped onto orthogonal subspaces under distinct errors. Webbis to our knowledge the rst attempt at implementing the emerging coupled-cavities QED paradigm. The device we propose possesses a degree of control, exibility and tuning un-matched in other suggested implementations: The atoms can be manipulated inside the cavity by auxiliary lasers and the cavity-cavity coupling rate as well as the atom-cavity

Quantum information processing with bosonic qubits in circuit QED
Webbfurther considering the atomic motion, we show that the inhibited damping can lead to a favorable scaling of the optomechanical parameters of an atom-array membrane placed within a cavity. The developed formalism lays the basis for further investigation of many-body QED with atom arrays in transversely confined geometries. WebbSeveral experiments in cavity QED have investigated the nonperturbative interaction of an atom with the electromagnetic field at the level of a single photon; for this system 2g 0is the single-photon Rabi frequency and G ;hg’,kj, with g’as the atomic dipole decay rate and k as the rate of decay of the cavity field [5–8]. WebbELI-NP facility will enable for the first time the use of two 10 PW laser beams for quantum electrodynamics (QED) experiments. The first beam will accelerate electrons to relativistic energies. The second beam will subject relativistic electrons to dal sublimity daphne white
